Material Interface
This project explores products, materials and interface at a macro level. The goal is to demonstrate an ability to design a product with a tactile interface through which a user and device communicate with one-another. We were to design and render a recording device (not display or touchscreen based, though this may be a secondary element), paying special attention to the material, tactile and communicative properties. The recording device I designed and modelled in Blender is an animal translating device. We were to render our interface using macro photography conventions, to create a single stylised image that celebrates the micro-details within the interface of our devices.
